Fabiana is a Peruvian-American filmmaker with two decades of experience as a writer, producer, creative director, cinematographer, and editor. She focuses on telling real, human stories that move people to take action.
A passionate advocate for cultural authenticity, Fabiana is an expert in multilingual and multicultural storytelling. Her work bridges cultures and languages, driven by the belief that emotionally resonant and culturally relevant stories create meaningful connections and lasting impact.
Fabiana loves being behind the camera and shaping a story from start to finish, whether it's through a script, framing a shot or fine-tuning a cut in post. She is also passionate about independent filmmaking and has explored identity, connection, and happenstance through her work.
Her work has earned her 26 Telly Awards and 3 Communicator awards, but what really drives her is the chance to create something honest and visually compelling.
She currently works as creative director for a production company that partners with some of the most respected nonprofits in the U.S. and is the Fabs behind Fabsmedia.

Fabsmedia LLC was born out of a desire to bring together a lifetime of creative skills—storytelling, filmmaking, and strategy—and put them in service of people, causes, and brands committed to making a lasting impact. With nearly 10 years of work running in parallel to Fabiana’s broader creative career, Fabsmedia leverages Fabiana's deep experience in the nonprofit sector to craft stories that inspire action and build connection.

It also serves as a platform to elevate women in film and related creative fields—offering opportunities for those whose voices are often overlooked.
